United States President Donald Trump asserted on Sunday that he had halted “five of the eight wars” facing the country, crediting what he described as his strategy of threatening foreign governments with tariffs to deter conflict. According to the president, the United States “earned trillions of dollars” from tariffs imposed on foreign nations during his second term, which he argued contributed to strong economic indicators. “There is almost no Inflation, and the worst in USA History under Sleepy Joe Biden. The Stock Market just hit an ALL-TIME HIGH for the 48th time in 9 months,” he wrote.

Trump also issued a sharply worded message to conservative legal activist Leonard Leo, Republican donor networks including those linked to Charles Koch, and a number of unnamed foreign governments. “To Leonard Leo, Koch, and all of the Countries and Slimeballs that have ripped off the United States of America for years through the use of their own Tariffs, we don’t have a Court System that’s going to let you destroy our Country any longer,” Trump wrote.
